BCC FIELD MISSING IN OUTLOOK?

Background

By default, the Bcc box (blind carbon copy) is not displayed in most versions of Microsoft Outlook.

Here is how you can fix it

In outlook 2002 and 2003, when you use MS Word as your default E-Mail editor.

• Open a new e-mail message.
• Click the arrow next to Options to display the Options menu.
• Click Bcc

In outlook 2002 and 2003, when you use Outlook as your default E-Mail editor.

• Open a new e-mail message.
• On the View menu, click Bcc Field. If the Bcc Field command is not displayed on the View menu, the Personalized Menus and Toolbars option is enabled. Double-click the View menu to display the full View menu.

If you are using Outlook 2007.

• Open a new e-mail message, and then click Options.
• On the Fields area, click Show Bcc

SHOW DESKTOP ICON MISSING FROM QUICK LAUNCH BAR?

Background

The SHOW DESKTOP ICON was on your quick lanch bar and now it is missing? No problem...

Here is how to fix it.

Use NOTEPAD to create a new file.

Copy and paste the five lines below into Notepad.  

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop 

Now simply save this new text document as Show Desktop.scf and then drag it to your quick launch bar. Your SHOW DESKTOP ICON should be back on the quick launch bar.
