SMS-Spam
Are you getting irritating unwanted SMS spam messages that you did not ask
for?

BACKGROUND
What is SMS "spam"?
Much like e-mail spam, an SMS message is considered to be spam if it was unsolicited and was sent by a company with
the intention of selling you a product or service.
What should I do once I have the details of the owner?
Use the contact information provided for the owner, and submit your complaint directly to them.
What happens if they won't resolve the problem?
Contact WASPA by making use of the complaint form provided for such situations.
ACT NOW !
Visit http://www.smscode.co.za/ to trace the culprit and follow steps
one, two and three on the page to resolve your problem.

You can also visit http://www.waspa.org.za
( WASPA is The Wireless Application Service Providers'
Association), and they act as watchdog to make sure people don't
above your cell number !
TIP
Never give your cell number and or indicate on application forms
(of any kind) that you want to receive info / specials / promotions and so forth via SMS. That is often ( not
always ) where spam SMS messages originate from.
